Pekingese’s Muscle Spasm Problem Treated By Animal Chiropractic
Friday evening, my Pekingese, Clyde began limping late after the vet we had been seeing for several years closed for the weekend. Before deciding whether to visit the emergency vet clinic in the next morning, I tucked him in for the evening and checking on Clyde’s condition, which somehow helped. I had tried to avoid the emergency clinic in town, since its rates were so out of sight compared to our regular vet. Pet Chiropractic
Come Saturday morning, Clyde was better but not 100%. Until I could feel the muscles relax, I spent some time massaging him again, taking care to hold pressure on trigger points. I didn’t worry too much because Clyde appeared calm.
But early Monday morning, Clyde’s muscles tightened up again and then he threw up a thick white substance that truly alarmed me. I held his tiny body close while I typed some keyword phrases into a search engine, and started looking for clues about what might be wrong. I visited her web site and made a call to her clinic since the name “Dr. Ava Frick” and “Ava Frick, DVM” kept popping in the engine search results.
Her staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable when we arrived at Dr. Frick’s clinic in Union, Missouri. Her staff gave me the quick impression that they cared about their patients, the same as Dr. Frick does. After taking Clyde’s complete medical history, Dr.Frick conducted an examination to determine what might be wrong. She started canine chiropractic treatments immediately and then set up schedules for succeeding treatments.
Most importantly, Clyde’s treatment made him relaxed and comfortable. Although I had never heard of the concept of using chiropractic techniques on animals, I am so glad that I found someone who knew exactly how to solve Clyde’s pain.
I now recommend Animal Fitness Center and Dr. Frick’s staff to my fellow pet owners at every chance I get. Animal Joint Pain
